Mercantile Flooring Showroom - Nawala

Every material has a story. For the Mercantile Flooring showroom, we transformed what many would consider waste into the defining design feature of the space. Reclaimed timber flooring off-cuts, marble remnants, and travertine pieces were carefully composed to create a continuous highlight pathway that guides visitors from the entrance to the main consultation counter.

More than a showroom, the space becomes a living catalogueβ€”where the products themselves shape the architecture. Through craftsmanship, pattern, and material reuse, discarded fragments were given a new purpose, celebrating sustainability while creating a memorable customer experience.

Design is not only about creating something new; sometimes it is about discovering the hidden potential of what already exists. ✨

Azenya _ Nuwaraeliya

Derived from the essence of Beauty and Strength, the concept of Azenya is brought to life through its unique architectural DNA. It is a sanctuary where the cold mountain air meets the warm embrace of thoughtful design.

Where Form Meets Function
The name reflects our structural philosophy:

The Strength: A bold, visible portal frame crafted from steel box barsβ€”modern, efficient, and resilient.

The Beauty: A seamless silhouette where the roof descends to become the walls, mirroring the slopes of the Nuwara Eliya hills.

The Soul: Inside, the "Azenya" spirit is felt in the warmth. Our multi-layered insulation and wooden interiors create a climate of "Quiet Luxury," keeping the mountain chill at bay.

Your Sanctuary in the Clouds
Whether you’re lounging in the TV lobby, waking up in the master suite, or sharing stories in the attic hideaway, Azenya is designed to be your "Joy" in the mist. ☁️πŸͺ΅

"River Rise"
The Vertical house by the River

Land Area -6 Perch
Location - Nawala
Principal Architect - Archt Kosala Weerasekara
Project Architect- Ar Dilkush Infas

Client - Mr Yohan Wimalwansa

Proving that luxury isn’t about lot size, but how you design the space. Situated on a tight 6-perch plot in Nawala, this residence uses split-level architecture to turn a narrow footprint into a spacious, riverfront sanctuary.

The concept was simple: Give every space a view.

From the turquoise breeze-block office on the ground floor to the open-plan living area that spills onto the pool deck, the house connects vertically to maximize volume and light.

Project Highlights: 🌊 Site: 6 Perches, Riverfront 🧱 Ground: Private office & Parking πŸ›‹οΈ First Floor: Living, Dining, Pantry & Pool Deck πŸ›οΈ Private: 4 Bedrooms with balcony views ✨ The Climax: A rooftop terrace under a dramatic glass skylight spine.

A home that breathes with the river, blurring the lines between inside and out.
