The Green Dorm’s design concept is anchored in three fundamental aspects: the courtyard, passages, and expandability. It consists of two parts: the concrete building containing rooms and the wooden walkway passage. The courtyard is a central feature that functions as a communal space and also provides panoramic view of lush greenery.

Our project Kinetic Cube was made for their Tiny House 2025 Competition and now it is presented in Top 50 on their social media page.

Surrounded with three closed sides on a narrow plot in Baghdad, Iraq, we build a house with a true oasis inside.

Al-Hosh Residence maximises a tiny footprint by turning inward. To overcome the dense urban environment and lack of ventilation and daylight, the heart of this structure is an uncovered central patio. This void pulls a natural light and fresh wind into every room and offering a view of palm trees. It daily provides a private connection to nature.

We let nature be the true foundation of this architecture. It is modular, climate-responsive, made from local materials, designed to grow in phases and harvest the rain.

That’s why we created the Kinetic Cube. It’s a simple, flexible tiny home that adapts to your daily needs.
We didn’t see small space as a problem, we saw it as a chance to get creative and be more clever with our design.
