Faye House is positioned on a corner plot, the house expresses a refined horizontality. The architectural language is one of softness and material honesty—where travertine cladding, warm neutral tones, and natural finishes evoke a timeless minimalism. The massing is deliberately restrained yet expressive, using subtle shifts in texture, depth, and light to articulate the façade. Windows are recessed to ensure privacy and provide shade, while façade rhythms are intentionally broken to reflect the internal functions.

يقع بيت فاي (Faye House) على أرض ركنية، ويعبر تصميمه عن أفقية هادئة ومتزنة تعكس طابعاً معمارياً راقياً. وتعتمد اللغة المعمارية للمشروع على النعومة وصدق المواد، حيث تتكامل كسوة الترافرتين مع الدرجات اللونية الدافئة والتشطيبات الطبيعية لتجسد مفهوم البساطة الخالدة.

وقد تم تشكيل الكتل المعمارية بعناية لتكون متحفظة في حضورها العام، لكنها غنية بالتعبير من خلال التباينات الدقيقة في الملمس والعمق وتفاعل الضوء مع الواجهات. كما تم تصميم النوافذ بشكل غائر داخل الكتلة المعمارية لتعزيز الخصوصية وتوفير التظليل الطبيعي، في حين تم كسر الإيقاع التقليدي للواجهات بصورة مدروسة لتعكس الوظائف الداخلية المختلفة للمساحات.

Faye House is a private residence meticulously crafted to respond to its unique corner plot. The generous setback of its urban condition allowed for the integration of a lush private garden, which serves as the backdrop of the home’s architectural composition. The ground floor is conceived as an open-plan volume, where kitchen, dining, and living areas unfold along a continuous axis and extend seamlessly into the landscape through full-height sliding glass panels. تم تصميم بيت في (Faye House) بعناية فائقة استجابةً لخصوصية موقعه الركني المميز. وقد أتاحت الارتداد السخية إمكانية دمج حديقة خاصة غنّاء، لتصبح العنصر المحوري الذي تتجه اليه مكونات المنزل الرئيسيه.

تم تصميم الطابق الأرضي كفراغ مفتوح ومتصل، حيث تمتد مساحات المطبخ والطعام والمعيشة على محور واحد متواصل، وتنفتح بسلاسة نحو الحديقة من خلال واجهات زجاجية بارتفاع كامل. وتعمل هذه الألواح الزجاجية القابلة للفتح على إذابة الحدود الفاصلة بين الداخل والخارج، لترتكز التجربة على الضوء الطبيعي والخضرة والتهوية، في علاقة متناغمة تعزز الاتصال المستمر بالطبيعة.

The project extends this logic beyond the building itself. Instead of treating the perimeter fence as a thin boundary, it is thickened and activated. Service elements are embedded within it, and its articulation follows the same linear language as the architecture. From the street, this transforms the fence into a perceived extension of the house, allowing the horizontal composition to begin before one actually enters the site.

يمتد مفهوم التصميم إلى ما هو أبعد من المبنى نفسه. فبدلاً من معاملة السياج المحيط على سبيل المثال كحدٍّ رفيع، يتم تثخينه وتفعيله. فنرى دمج لعناصر الخدمة بداخله، وتتبع تفاصيله نفس اللغة الخطية للمبنى. ومن الشارع، يُحوّل هذا السياجَ إلى امتداد مُدرَك للمنزل، مما يجعل التكوين الأفقي يبدأ قبل أن يدخل المرء الموقع فعلياً.

Morning House is not simply organized along an edge—it constructs that edge as an architectural device. By thickening the boundary and extending its language outward, the project reframes the relationship between building, garden, and street, allowing the landscape and the architecture to be read as a continuous system rather than separate elements.

لا يقتصر “التصميم على تنظيم امتداد حافة ما — بل يبني تلك الحافة بوصفها أداةً معمارية. فبتثخين السور و الحدود المبنيه وامتداد لغتها إلى الخارج، يُعيد المشروع صياغة العلاقة بين المبنى والحديقة والشارع، مما يتيح قراءة المشهد والعمارة كمنظومة متواصلة لا كعنصرين منفصلين.

Morning House begins with a controlled inversion of the typical residential plot. Rather than distributing the building within the site, the mass is consolidated along the northern boundary, allowing the landscape to occupy the full depth of the property.

This linear organization establishes a clear relationship to the garden, but avoids the monotony of a stacked system. Each level is subtly shifted in plan, creating a layered composition where volumes are read independently rather than as a continuous slab. This introduces a more dynamic tectonic relationship between floors, where each level appears to rest against, rather than directly on top of, the other.

يعكس تصميم المنزل النموذج السكني المعتاد. فبدلاً من توزيع المبنى داخل الموقع، تتمركز الكتلة على طول الحد الشمالي فقط، مما يتيح للحدائق و الزراعه أن تشغل العمق الكامل للأرض.

يرسخ هذ التنظيم الخطي علاقةً واضحة مع الحديقة، غير أنه يتجنب الأسلوب المتراكم الصامت. فنرى تحريك متعمد لكل طابق، مما يخلق تكويناً متعدد الطبقات بحيث تُقرأ الكتل باستقلالية بدلاً من أن تبدو ككتله واحده. تخلق هذا علاقةً علاقه أكثر ديناميكية بين الطوابق، إذ تبدو كل كتله مسنوداً على الأخرى لا مُكدَّستا فوقها مباشرةً.

Moon House is conceived as a composition of two volumes: a grounded base plinth and a lighter, articulated upper mass. The interplay between these elements is emphasized through careful material selection, depth of shadow, and a rhythmic treatment of apertures. The first-floor windows are purposefully placed to visually and tectonically divide the upper volume from the base, accentuating the sense of a solid object resting above a grounded platform.

Moon House is a distinctive residential project that responds to both regulatory opportunity and urban adjacency in a densely built neighborhood. Constructed on a plot that benefits from a unique planning allowance, the project takes advantage of an exemption from traditional setback requirements, enabling it to build directly up to the neighboring plot line on its eastern side. This rare condition allowed the design to maximize the buildable area while simultaneously introducing new formal and spatial strategies to address its immediate context.

يستجيب Moon House لفرص تنظيمية وظروف عمرانية متجاورة ضمن نسيج سكني كثيف. أُقيم المشروع على أرض تتمتع باستثناء تخطيطي خاص، حيث أُعفي من متطلبات الارتدادات التقليدية، ما أتاح البناء مباشرة حتى حدّ الملكية مع الجار من الجهة الشرقية. هذه الحالة النادرة مكّنت التصميم من تعظيم المساحة القابلة للبناء، وفي الوقت ذاته فتحت المجال أمام تطوير استراتيجيات شكلية وفراغية جديدة للتعامل مع السياق المباشر للموقع
