The Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK) was proudly represented at the & Conference held under the theme "𝑸𝑺 𝑸𝒖𝒐 𝑽𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒔? 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚, 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘." The conference brought together Quantity Surveying professionals from across Africa to exchange knowledge, strengthen regional collaboration, and explore the future of the profession through innovation, technology, and transformation.

Today, we were delighted to hold a high-level engagement with the Construction Industry Council - Eswatini, bringing together leaders committed to advancing Kenya's built environment through collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose.

The meeting was attended by the IQSK Council Members, representatives from the National Construction Authority (NCA), and the Construction Industry Council Eswatini team, providing a valuable platform to deliberate on key industry priorities, strengthen institutional partnerships, and explore collaborative initiatives that will shape the future of the construction sector.

We believe that meaningful partnerships and thought leadership are essential to driving sustainable growth, enhancing professional standards, and delivering lasting impact across the built environment.

The Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK) is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of our member, QS. Edgar Otochi Mokua.

We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire quantity surveying fraternity during this difficult time. As the professional body representing Quantity Surveyors in Kenya, we stand in solidarity with the bereaved family and keep them in our thoughts and prayers as the relevant authorities continue to establish the circumstances surrounding this tragic loss.

With profound sorrow, IQSK announces the passing of one of our own, 𝐐𝐒. 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐎𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐌𝐨𝐤𝐮𝐚, 𝐅𝐈𝐐𝐒𝐊 (𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 551).

We mourn the loss of a dedicated professional whose commitment to the quantity surveying profession and to the Institute left a lasting impact. We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and the entire quantity surveying fraternity.

Jordan Rabach, who joined an esteemed panel of industry leaders including Raheem Biviji - MD at Zenith Steel Fabricators Ltd., Anthony Ng'ang'a - MD Safal Building Systems (SBS) and SHAILENDRA SINGH - GM Steel & Tube Industries Ltd or a panel discussion on:
