The simplest way to sell Deye systems is to package the inverter and battery together according to the customer's power requirement, rather than making installers calculate everything from scratch.
1. The basic pairing rule
First identify the Deye inverter's battery voltage class. The Deye SE-F5 is a 51.2V low-voltage LiFePO₄ battery, with an operating range of 44.8–57.6V. It communicates with the inverter through CAN/RS485. �

So, for Deye low-voltage hybrid inverters, you can build packages around SE-F5 batteries, provided the specific inverter model is listed as compatible in Deye's compatibility documentation/manual. Deye itself recommends checking the compatibility list rather than assuming every inverter works with every battery. �

Important: these are sales-package examples, not blanket engineering rules. The final number of batteries should be checked against the inverter's permitted battery current, the customer's peak load, desired backup duration, PV size and Deye's current compatibility documentation.

3. Teach installers to think in three questions
When an installer calls Savanna Solar, make the conversation very simple:
① What inverter size?
5kW, 8kW, 12kW, 16kW, 20kW, etc.
② What battery backup do they need?
For example, 5kWh, 10kWh, 15kWh, 20kWh+.
③ What is the customer's maximum load?
A house with a 3kW average load but a 7kW peak load needs to be assessed differently from a house with a 10kW peak load.
Then you can respond:
"Tell us your inverter size and required backup capacity, and Savanna Solar will recommend the matching Deye inverter + Deye lithium battery package."
4. Make your installer packages easy to quote
I'd structure your Savanna Solar price list like this:

And similarly for your 8kW, 12kW and 16kW packages.
This makes it much easier for an installer to send you a WhatsApp message such as:
"Send me the price for Deye 8kW + 15kWh battery package."
You can immediately quote them.
5. One important distinction
Don't sell "kW inverter = kWh battery" as a fixed rule.
kW = how much power the inverter can deliver.
kWh = how much energy the battery can store.
For example, a 5kW inverter with 10.24kWh of batteries has approximately twice the nominal storage of the same inverter with one 5.12kWh battery. The actual usable energy and backup time depend on operating limits, DoD, loads and other system conditions. Deye specifies the SE-F5 at 5.12kWh nominal energy and 80% recommended DoD; newer SE-F5 Plus/Pro variants have different specifications, so don't mix the models casually. �

For your 16kW 3-phase systems and larger 20–80kW systems, I would treat them separately from the residential SE-F5 package list and build a commercial Deye inverter + battery compatibility table rather than simply multiplying SE-F5 batteries. Deye has separate commercial/industrial battery families such as BOS-G and other ESS platforms. �
