But I was issued with an Authorisation to drill! Authorisation is just a stage towards permitting. It's what allows one to carry out water works(in this case, borehole drilling).

Water Resources Authority.

What are the requirements for a permit?

1.Hydrogeological Survey Report(2 hard copies+1 soft copy)
2. Title Deed/Land ownership documents(2 copies)
3. ID Card/Company Registration Certificate(2 copies)
4. KRA Pin Certificate(2 copies)
5. Borehole Completion Record(includes test-pumping results & water quality results)
6. Assessment Fee
7. Permit Fee
8. Water usage charges-based on metre readings.
