As part of the DS @ 20 celebrations, we came together for a meaningful Baraza on community-based projects — reflecting on what it truly means to design with people, for people.

Led by insights from Vera Bukachi, CEO of Kounkuey Design Initiative (KDI) , the session explored how intentional, community-driven ideas can be transformed into impactful and sustainable initiatives.

Through the discussion, we began shaping the thinking behind our pod-based projects, learning how collaboration, empathy, and innovation can help turn ideas into real change within the communities we serve.
