Powering Progress Through Clean Energy.

Today, Dharartu Construction and Supplies Limited successfully powered on the Nyeri Town telecommunications site in Nyeri County, marking another milestone in the delivery of reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure.

The project involved the design and integration of a 9.375 kWp grid connected solar PV system to supplement the existing utility power supply. The scope included load assessment, solar path and shading analysis, structural design, PV array installation, earthing, ducting, testing, commissioning, and full integration with the site's power infrastructure.

The site is equipped with 12 Shoto Lithium batteries, each rated at 600Ah, providing a total battery capacity of 7,200Ah. The power system is supported by a Delta DPS 2900B rectifier with an Orion controller, delivering reliable backup power, improved energy efficiency, faster charging performance, longer service life, and uninterrupted telecommunications operations.

This successful power on at the Nyeri Town site reflects our commitment to engineering excellence, quality workmanship, safety, and sustainable infrastructure.
