Don’t wait to have the experience.
Experience, they say, is the best teacher.
The beautiful thing about that quote is that it wasn’t stated whose experience is actually the best teacher.
I read in a book that even a fool can learn from his own mistakes but a wise person will learn from the experiences of others.
There are mistakes you can’t afford to make.
For some of us who didn’t come from wealthy homes, we know the struggles to pay fees, feed, pay bills and to afford some basic living.
We knew our parents payday, we saw how the money was splitted until nothing was left.
I don’t think it’s something we want to repeat.
When I read ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’, one of the things that got to me was the fact that he had admitted that he wasn’t going to tread the path that his Poor Dad walked.
Rich Dad taught him money multiplication.
Rich Dad taught him investing.
For some of us, our parents have told us their story and the least we can do is not replay the story in our own lives. We can do better.
You can’t know better and not do better.
Some of them started thinking of money late.
Some of them have worked for money all their lives. No money was working for them anywhere.
Some of them actually tried but didn’t get the results they wished for.
Some of them wish they had the knowledge you have at this same age or even at an older age.
Some gave up before they started.
These are valid reasons but shouldn’t be reasons you too should give.
