The accommodation by the lake at Lake Aoki is in full bloom now!

After checking the outdoor lights before the grand opening,
the owner kindly let us stay there.

The cherry blossoms were amazing, of course.
But the lakeside before sunrise was too beautiful to capture in photos.

I am simply very thankful to everyone who helped create this place 🙇🏻

青木湖湖畔の宿泊施設は今が満開！
グランドオープン前の外構の照明確認後
オーナーさんのご好意で宿泊させていただきました。

桜はやっぱり見事ですが、
日の出前の湖畔は美しすぎて写真におさめられませんでした。

この場所を作るために関わっていただいた方々に

It almost feels like facing the spirit of Lake Aoki itself.

水平線の絶景を望むA-frame
雲が美しいですね

海岸沿いの傾斜地
サラサラの砂地の土地で建設は大変でしたが
とても素敵にまとめていただきました！

デッキの形状を工夫して
手すりなどが景色の邪魔にならないように
調整しています！

The ocean! The Pacific Ocean!

An A-frame overlooking a breathtaking horizon.
The clouds above the sea are simply beautiful.

Built on a sloped coastal site,
the sandy ground made construction quite challenging,
but the result turned out wonderfully.

The deck was carefully designed
so that railings and details would not interrupt the view.

プライバシーや景観を確保するため
床を上げたスタイルのA-frame

畑は一年を通じ何度も収穫をするので
四季とは少し違ったペースで景色が変わるので
面白いです！

間接照明により他には無い空間になっています

A rare site where you can enjoy views of Mt. Asama and the Saku Basin.

To secure privacy and protect the scenery,
this A-frame is designed with an elevated floor, gently floating above the land.

The surrounding fields are harvested multiple times throughout the year,
so the landscape changes at a different rhythm than the four seasons —
which makes it especially fascinating.

The interior features curved wooden walls,
and indirect lighting creates a truly one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

富士五湖の傾斜地
高低差を活かした眺望と心地の良い林の景色を楽しめるお宿
3棟並んでいるうちの大きい棟で
２つのA-frameが横につながっています。

白を基調にしつつ、赤色のアクセントを入れてコーディネート
ガラスには調光フィルムが貼ってあり、スイッチ一つで透明から曇りガラスに切り替わります！

雪の時期は屋外の白と屋内の白がマッチしてお勧めです！

特にカナダのウィスラーではたくさん建っていて
ノンアポの突撃訪問で何軒も中を観させていただきました！

そして日本のスキーリゾート白馬に提供できたのは
とても嬉しいです！
宿泊施設ですので是非ご利用ください！

急勾配なので雪に対するメリットが大きく
もみの木などの針葉樹とのシルエットの相性もいいので
スキー場の中などにも提供できたら最高です！

大通沿いでの計画だったため
隣地への雪溜まりの配慮や
リビングのプライバシーの確保のことから
1階床高さを上げて計画しました！

🏔️ A-frames are often seen at ski resorts around the world.
Especially in Whistler, Canada, where many are built.
I even visited several houses without appointments and was lucky to see inside!

It makes me truly happy to bring A-frame homes to Hakuba, Japan.

With its steep roof, an A-frame is perfect for snowy areas.
It also matches beautifully with evergreen trees, making it ideal for ski resorts.

Because this project is along a main road,
we raised the first floor to consider snow accumulation and protect privacy in the living room.

軽井沢から西に抜ける浅間サンライン
7年前、自宅のための絶景の土地を探していた時
サンライン沿いから眺める佐久盆地の広大な風景がとても素晴らしかったと、当時の感動を思い出します

そんな素晴らしい景色の土地に建つ
さんの住宅展示場
北関東、東信エリアを中心にお洒落な建物を提供されており、
スタイルデザインさんの素敵なテイストにまとめていただいています！

大工さんは30歳前後の若い二人組
A-frameを面白がっていただき
色々考えて工夫し素敵に仕上げていただきました！

Asama Sunline, heading west from Karuizawa.
Seven years ago, when I was searching for scenic land for my own home,
I was deeply moved by the vast view of the Saku Basin from this road.

On this beautiful site stands the model home by .
They create stylish buildings mainly in the North Kanto and Eastern Nagano area.
This project was beautifully finished in their signature taste.

Two young carpenters, around 30 years old, worked on this A-frame.
They enjoyed the challenge, thought creatively, and crafted it with great care.

練習されているフルートも嬉しそうに演奏していただきました

オーケストラピットとしての穴もあり、
そこでフルート吹いている雰囲気の私の写真を撮っていただきました！私は一切吹けませんが憧れますね。

It’s used not only for concerts,

The owner is an award-winning photographer
and loves music. 🎶
I even got to hear him play the flute!

There is also an orchestra pit,
where he took a photo playing the flute.
(I can’t play at all 😅)

内装の板張りと間接照明がとても良い雰囲気で、
良い曲流しながらお酒が進むそうです🍷

水道は雨水タンクを利用したオフグリッド
ポンプの設定やメンテナンスなど
チャレンジは色々ありますが、
A-frameとオフグリッドの相性はいいので、

Sitting on the floor and relaxing brings a deep sense of comfort.
With wooden interiors and soft indirect lighting,

The water system uses a rainwater tank for off-grid living.
There are challenges like pump settings and maintenance,
but A-frame cabins and off-grid life are a great match.
