THE FOREST MIRROR đã được vinh danh với Giải Vàng tại VMARK Vietnam Design Award 2026.

Đây là sự ghi nhận đáng quý cho những nỗ lực nghiên cứu và sáng tạo của X-Lab Architectural Research trong hành trình theo đuổi những giá trị kiến trúc bền vững và giàu bản sắc.

Chúng tôi trân trọng cảm ơn Hội đồng Giám khảo, Ban Tổ chức VMARK cùng các cộng sự đã tin tưởng, đồng hành trong suốt quá trình phát triển dự án.

Dù không thể sắp xếp tham dự đêm Gala nhận giải, chúng tôi vô cùng trân trọng sự ghi nhận này và hy vọng sẽ có cơ hội gặp gỡ cộng đồng thiết kế trong những sự kiện sắp tới.

This recognition is a meaningful milestone for X-Lab Architectural Research, reflecting our ongoing commitment to exploring architecture that is sustainable, contextual, and rich in identity.

We sincerely thank the Jury, the VMARK Organizing Committee, and all collaborators who have trusted and supported us throughout the development of this project.

Although we were unable to attend the Gala Ceremony in person, we deeply appreciate this recognition and look forward to connecting with the design community at future events.

We did not qualify as finalists in the competition, but we’re happy to share our proposal.

Yakushima was the first site in Japan to be registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site in 1993. Its landscape, harboring memories of ancient times, is as mystical as a scene from a movie. If this island were a story, the protagonist would undoubtedly be "Nature" itself. The concept of "Forest Mirror Image" was born from a profound reverence for this majestic wilderness. Here, architecture is nothing more than a "stage" or a "mirror" for nature to reflect and perform. Humans step back, becoming silent spectators gazing upon the beauty of natural form.

Trong nhịp sống hiện đại, việc sở hữu một không gian sống thư thái và gần gũi với thiên nhiên là điều mà ai cũng mong muốn.

Phong cách Japandi là sự kết hợp hoàn hảo giữa sự tinh tế của Nhật Bản và sự đơn giản của Bắc Âu. Với gam màu trung tính, chất liệu tự nhiên và đường nét mềm mại, Japandi mang đến không gian sống thanh bình, cân bằng giữa yếu tố truyền thống và hiện đại, tạo cảm giác thư thái cho mọi thành viên trong gia đình.
