A few glimpses of our work in progress.

Today, I’m in the mountains choosing stones for a work trip starting tomorrow.
Finding just the right stone while imagining the garden is always a special moment.


最近は天気に恵まれ、各地での庭づくりが順調に進んでいます。
写真は、現在施工中の庭の様子です。

今日は、明日からの出張に向けて山へ石を選びに。
庭を思い描きながら「これだ」と思える石に出会う瞬間は、何度味わっても最高です。

I create gardens by imagining how they will be experienced from different perspectives.

Sitting.
Walking through the garden.
Looking down from a second-floor deck.

Even when pruning, I consider how the trees will look from each viewpoint.

The placement of stones creates the framework of the landscape.

That is why I pay close attention to both stone placement and the form of the trees.

庭を多くの視点から見ることを想像して、
配置しています。

座ったとき、歩いたとき、
2階のデッキから見下ろしたとき。

剪定も、それぞれの場所から見える景色を想像しながら。

そして、その景色の骨格を決めるのが石の配置。

だからこそ、石と木の姿にこだわっています。

Each element is carefully considered, with an emphasis on harmony with traditional Japanese architecture.

Through the beauty of open space and the Japanese concept of Ma, I hope this garden offers a sense of stillness and a moment of peace.

As I continue creating gardens in various places, I find myself returning to Echizen City time and again.

I am currently working on a garden behind the main hall of a temple, carefully bringing it to life step by step.

I feel that a garden reflects the way we live and the state of our hearts at that particular moment.

By engaging with stone, nature, and my own inner self, I will continue this work with care and sincerity.

We have the pleasure of caring for the garden at Charyo Hosen in Kyoto every year.

This time, we also renewed the Kuro-moji bamboo fences on both sides of the Baiken Gate, creating a more tranquil and harmonious view.

A limited space with tight access.By artfully combining smaller natural stones, we created a "Kutsunugi-ishi" (stepping stone) that brings a unique, organic warmth—something ready-made stones can never replicate.A serene Nyoirin Kannon statue stands alongside a copper Chozubachi (water basin) that deepens in character over time.It is precisely within these intimate boundaries that a deeply sensory, luxurious garden escape comes to life.

あえて小さな天然石を組み合わせた
「沓脱石（くつぬぎいし）」が、既製品にはない
唯一無二の“良い味”を醸し出します。

静謐に佇む「如意輪観音像」と、

限られた空間だからこそ、五感が研ぎ澄まされる

A magnificent waterfall with a drop of over 5 meters.The centerpiece is the "Taihu stone," standing with a presence like a masterfully crafted sculpture.

Stepping beyond the boundaries of traditional Japanese gardens, we engaged in a dialogue with the unique "expression" of each individual stone.

It was as if we were painting a single masterpiece on the canvas of this grand residence.A luxurious, one-of-a-kind waterscape where the raw beauty of nature melts together with artisan sensibility.

This is a bespoke landscape where stone, water, and space become one.

落差5メートルを超える、圧倒的なスケールの滝。

主役に迎えたのは、まるで彫刻作品のような佇まいを持つ「太湖石（たいこせき）」です。

伝統的な日本庭園の枠組みを超え、石一つひとつが持つ固有の「表情」と対話しながら、邸宅のキャンバスに一枚の絵画を描くような感覚で石組みを施しました。

石、水、そして空間が一体となる、オーダーメイドのランドスケープです。
