However we specialize in light weight structures, including membrane structures, cable stayed structures, ETFE cushion structures, event and temporary structures and retractable roof structures. Exciting to see construction progress on the GFRC façade at Surf House at The Surf Club, a Four Seasons Residence by Fort Partners.

Located at the south end of The Surf Club in Surfside, Miami, Surf House brings a modern architectural language into conversation with the original 1965 building. The façade, designed by French architect Jérôme Engelkin with KOBI KARP as Architect of Record, complements the project’s refined residential character and coastal setting.

As vertical construction advances, Maffeis Engineering is proud to support Prekast Corp, the GFRC façade contractor, with façade design and engineering services for the GFRC envelope.

Projects like this require close coordination between architectural design, material performance, fabrication logic, tolerances and installation sequencing. Our role is to help translate the design vision into a buildable façade system that can be efficiently fabricated and successfully delivered on site.

Excited to share that Davide Guidetti, Vice President & U.S. Regional Director at Maffeis Engineering, will participate as a featured panelist at the upcoming Global Crossroads Conference hosted by the UT Dallas International Center.

Davide will join Yavar Saremi, Lead Architect at Overland International, for Plenary III: The Arena – Building a Space for Sports, a conversation on how stadiums and arenas are evolving beyond venues for sport into catalysts for community, economic development, urban identity and global exchange.

The panel will explore how major sports infrastructure is planned, designed and delivered at the intersection of architecture, engineering, culture, and public life.

By combining our specialized engineering expertise with a passion for complex structures, we have successfully helped turn an ambitious vision of eco-tourism and adventure into a safe, stunning reality. Our team took on the comprehensive structural design for the project's most dynamic elements, including the Ziplines, Platforms, Cable Structures, Via Ferrata, and Wobbly Bridges.

Following the design phase, we also conducted the final hand-over inspection and certification, ensuring the entire installation met the global standards of quality, safety, and precision.

The project’s success is rooted in engineering tailored to challenging natural terrains. By adopting a meticulous, data-driven design approach, we delivered a tangible impact on the realization of this adventure landmark:

Maffeis Engineering SpA is proud to be currently developing the detailed design and serving as the Structural Works Site Supervision for the Grand Stade de Casablanca in Morocco—set to become the largest football stadium in the world with a capacity of 115,000 seats.

Prepared to take center stage for the FIFA World Cup 2030, this monumental project will feature the world’s largest cable net roof structure, pushing the boundaries of long-span engineering.
An iconic landmark requires an extraordinary collective effort: alongside our role in structural construction supervision, the construction site currently deploys over 5,000 workers, a workforce that will double to 10,000 units during peak construction phases.

Key Project Figures:
- Role: Concept, Schematic, and Detailed Design + Structural Works Direction
- Capacity: 115,000 seats – The world’s largest football stadium.
- Global Budget: 490+ millions EUR

In Maffeis Engineering SpA siamo abituati a calcolare ogni dettaglio e a prevedere ogni variabile, ma ora i giochi sono fatti e le sfide sono delineate. Dal monitor ai campi di gioco del Torneo Win:Win, siamo pronti a schierare i nostri team e a dare il massimo!
