This post comes a little late. I've only now found the chance to breathe, just for a moment, before diving back into the usual whirlwind. Better late than never.

In April, I defended my PhD thesis in Architecture, Design, and Planning - Curriculum in Innovation Design - titled "From Building Stocks to Dynamic Digital Material Banks. A Digital Methodology for the Upcycling of Reclaimed Materials and Components," at the International School of Advanced Studies of the Università di Camerino UNICAM Unicam SAAD

My first thanks go to my family, for taking care of me when I clearly couldn't do it myself.

To my travel companions of Università di Camerino and Delft University of Technology TU Delft BK Bouwkunde TU Delft, and in particular Francesco Conti Francesco Conti, Vittorio Giannetti Vittorio Giannetti, and Hamza Hamida Hamzah | حمزة, for making this journey lighter.

To Prof. Lucia Pietroni, for her teaching and invaluable advice.

To my mentor and brother Francesco Giordano .architect, for teaching me everything and for giving me the chance to express my qualities in contexts of excellence.

To Olga Ioannou Olga Ioannou, for giving this thesis the push it needed - but not only that: for listening to me, supporting me, understanding me, being my psychologist and, why not, a bit of a mother too.

To Prof. Roberto Ruggiero , for the stimulating conversations, at any hour, in which - with fire in our eyes - we dreamed up new scenarios for the Architectural Technology.
