Saying goodbye to a wonderful group of writers 💫🌊😇🙏❤️

Wishing you all the very best as you continue your creative journeys and bring your projects to life.

We feel truly honored that you chose Nostos as a home for your work and a space to nurture your ideas. We hope the Tuscan October sunshine, home-cooked meals, thoughtful mentorship, and the beautiful friendships you’ve made here will continue to nourish your inner worlds and inspire your writing long after you leave.

May you carry a little piece of Nostos with you, wherever your words may take you.

Introducing the Nostos Directing Lab!

Ten immersive days in the Tuscan countryside, exploring the spoken and unspoken languages of film and television directing — with acclaimed filmmaker, educator, and author Rob Spera

Visual storytelling. Actor communication. Staging, shot design, and cinematic language. Hands-on, practical, and built around the kind of directing that preserves spontaneity and instinct.

Drawing from decades of experience across film, television, theatre, and education — and from his acclaimed book Film/TV Director’s Field Manual — Rob brings a unique approach to helping directors shape multidimensional performances.
