Her expertise, sensitivity and competence have been highly recognized around the world throughout the projects she led and designed over the past 30 years. Tectoo’s cutting-edge approach is also enhanced by the expertise of Architect Andrea Peschiera, with whom Architect Scarabicchi has had a close and productive collaboration during the last five years at RPBW and who joined the firm as a director from an early stage, sharing the common focus on technical excellence and experimentation developed through his international experience. Tectoo is deeply rooted by architectural, environmental and social convictions for what designing for the future means. Creating something new in a world everyday more fragile requires the profound awareness that the best building concepts grow by means of a rigorous and innovative approach. Our view is that creating good architecture involves developing and implementing competencies in collaboration with an extensive network of experts from many fields and disciplines whilst engaging in a strong relationship with our clients in order to define common goals. New events building for the Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico centro settentrionale (MACS), Ravenna, 2025

The temporary consortium formed by TECTOO (lead), , Studio associato Delucchi&Maldotti, and Progetto Decibel S.r.l. was awarded fourth place —out of 106 participating teams— in the anonymous open design competition for the new events building in Ravenna, recently designated “Capital of the Sea 2026”.

Conceived as a threshold between city and port, the new events building in Ravenna’s Darsena redefines a former industrial edge as a civic interface.
Located along the Candiano canal, the project operates as an urban hinge, linking future public parks, pedestrian infrastructures and the evolving waterfront, while establishing a new gateway from the sea.

The architectural concept is rooted in local memory. Two thin, double-curved roof membranes evoke the suspended geometries of traditional fishing huts and their Padelloni nets, long embedded in the landscapes of the Adriatic coast.

Beneath the roof, a permeable and flexible ground-level plan unfolds. A fully glazed façade towards the canal frames the water as a continuous backdrop for events, while a more solid northern edge defines the building’s urban front. The volume is set back from the quay, allowing the public realm to extend along the water and integrate with the building’s activities.

“LA3 + Aria”, designed in collaboration with engineering firm , was recognized for its focus on advanced technology, integrated lighting solutions, reduced visual impact and minimized land use—a holistic approach to wind infrastructure that balances performance and environmental sensitivity.

Viale Bianca Maria 31
The project entails the requalification of an historical building in the centre of Milan. Located on Viale Bianca Maria – also known as the “Circle of the Bastions” or “Circle of the Spanish walls”- which inner ring road consists of two parallel streets that trace the layout of the former Spanish walls of Milan.The building was erected in 1904 – as part of a compound with an internal courtyard – and refurbished in 1925. It has some typical features of the Milanese architecture of the 1920s and a decorative system with clean lines, embellished with themes that recall the Art Nouveau style. The floor finishes, the iron works and the murals create interplay of overlapping patterns. Some signs represented in the common areas and on the façade recall floral figures, branches or leaves, partly stylized and partly more organic, but generally with soft lines.In particular, a coat of arms designed by abstracting a floral figure is recurrent in the interiors, which lends to the creation of a logo for the project. In fact, the symbol embodies the concepts of linearity and elegance and recalls both the era of construction of the building and some Renaissance lines and patterns.The intervention consists in the redistribution of the building’s fitout, in order to permit the creation of 11 luxurious units and a small gym.The recovery of attic spaces is possible through a total reconstruction of the roof and the creation of pocket terraces, that add prestige to the apartments on the top floor, and skylights to ensure the quality of the attic spaces.Special attention is paid to the conservation and restoration of the facades, both along the streets and in the internal courtyard, to maintain the quality of the details.

Last Wednesday we had the pleasure to be awarded at THE PLAN Real Estate Awards! Tectoo obtained three extremely important recognition!

- Winner with VP22 project within the category "Innovation and Design" completed
- Winner with Angst Bordighera 1887 within the category "Investment and Asset Management"
- Overall Winner of the Plan Real Estate Award 2025 with Angst Bordighera 1887

It is a great achievement for Tectoo and the whole team involved, proof of consistency, passion and professionality deployed through the years.
