Meet Luca Vailati our Director of Site Supervision!

Luca is a Project Manager with extensive experience in large-scale and complex infrastructure projects.

His expertise covers all key aspects of project management, including strategic planning, cost and budget control, scheduling, quality assurance, contract administration, health, safety, and environmental management. He also provides end-to-end support to clients, from early brief development to final fit-out and furnishing solutions.

Among key projects is the ongoing expansion of Sharjah International Airport (UAE), a major development aimed at increasing capacity to 20 million passengers per year, including a new passenger terminal, a link building, and a VIP terminal. He has been also involved in the Riyadh Metro Western Station alongside the contractors’ joint venture, contributing to one of the network’s most iconic stations of the network, designed as a catalyst for urban regeneration.

Luca has contributed to a wide range of international projects across the Middle East and Europe, both as a consultant and today as part of Oneworks, spanning aviation, transportation, residential, retail, and hospitality sectors.

Bergamo is moving toward a more connected future.

With its airport and upcoming links to the European rail network, the city is expanding its public transport system through a major infrastructure project. Bergamo Train Station is an €80 million intervention designed to reconnect the city, link key civic destinations, and heal a long-standing urban divide created by the railway.

Led by NET Engineering, with architectural consultancy by Cino Zucchi Architetti and Oneworks, the project brings together urban design, technical innovation, and environmental sustainability to support Bergamo’s next phase of growth.

Some urban spaces tell the story of a city's future, and Piazzale Lugano is soon about to become one of them following the Comune di Milano’s approval of the implementation plan.

The new masterplan, designed by Oneworks and commissioned by EGI – Europa Gestioni Immobiliari S.p.A. (part of the Poste Italiane Group), will transform this 22,000 sqm site in north-west Milan. Once a postal sorting centre, the area is now set to become a landmark of urban regeneration.

Our vision has been to create a neighbourhood that breathes. Over 13,000 sqm of public space and 9,000 sqm of greenery will form a living, walkable corridor that reconnects Bovisa and Ghisolfa, two districts that have long been divided.

The masterplan integrates architecture and public realm through two mixed-use buildings that accommodate tertiary, commercial, and hospitality functions. These are integrated with a system of public spaces, where existing gardens are expanded into a continuous green corridor that will extend into the future park.

As part of the wider Scalo Farini transformation, the project establishes a strategic northern access to the future railway park. In doing so, it anticipates the broader transformation reshaping this part of the city and helps define what comes next.

At Milano Design Week 2026, Oneworks presents “Officina”, the first tangible expression of our Interior Concept & Product Design Division, which embodies the natural evolution of our multidisciplinary approach toward a fully integrated design platform.

Officina is a site-specific exhibition at our headquarters in Milan that brings together products, systems, and materials developed with our prestigious partner companies. Set within a temporary architecture made from reusable and ecological materials, it reveals the collaboration process where design, production, research, and application come together.

As one of four main hubs in the new metro system of the Saudi capital, Qasr Al Hokm Downtown Metro Station serves as a vital link connecting two of the city’s main metro lines. Situated in the historic heart of Riyadh and conceptually designed by Snøhetta, the station is conceived as an open urban and pedestrian plaza, defined by a large stainless-steel canopy that acts as an urban periscope.

The station levels are visually linked through this mirror-like overhang structure, reflecting the outside inwards and the inside outward. Beyond its striking aesthetic, the canopy performs a critical environmental role, directing natural light deep into the underground station while providing essential shade to the surrounding public areas.

Inside, the two metro lines traverse the open atrium within glazed tubes, creating a striking visual presence. For passengers merely passing through, this sight signifies the importance of Riyadh’s historic downtown and the seamless link between history and the new.

Oneworks is proud to have contributed to the preliminary, final, and executive architectural, structural, and engineering design of this landmark project in joint venture with CREW Cremonesi Workshop and Snøhetta, built by Webuild Group for the الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض(Royal Commission for Riyadh City).

What a weekend on the slopes🏆

We’re proud to share that we brought home five trophies, including the ultimate team recognition: the title of Best Studio, awarded to the firm with the highest overall score.

Last weekend we participated in the annual Courmayeur Design Week-end, expertly organised by Paola L. Silva Coronel and her team, that brings together professionals from the design industry and winter sports.

Meet Alessandro Arvalli, our new Director of Engineering!

Alessandro brings over thirty years of experience in engineering and real estate development, with expertise in construction supervision and the delivery of sophisticated structural projects. Throughout his career, he has held senior technical and project and construction management positions at leading industry firms, coordinating complex residential, office, and hospitality developments for major clients including Hines Italy, Generali Real Estate, and Investire SGR.

His portfolio includes significant urban regeneration projects such as Symbiosis and Torre Garibaldi in Milan, where he led multidisciplinary teams and oversaw every phase of the process, from feasibility studies to final delivery. With a strategic mindset and a strong command of operational and financial dynamics, Alessandro brings deep expertise to large-scale infrastructure and real estate developments.

In his role with Oneworks, Alessandro oversees the entire delivery process, from technical and structural feasibility through to final testing and commissioning, ensuring full compliance with regulations, timelines, budgets, quality and safety standards.
