In celebration of Milan Design Week, Zanotta’s Flagship Store on Via Durini has been completely redesigned.
Spanning two floors, the renewed space introduces new materials and a refined color palette. Conceived by Studio Calvi Brambilla and Partners, the interior is defined by rich coffee tones, reflecting contemporary design trends through surfaces, textiles, and decorative objects. This warm atmosphere is contrasted by a geometric checkered pattern, a tribute to Zanotta’s iconic Quaderna collection.
At the heart of the exhibition path are the works of renowned architect Carlo Mollino, one of the most eclectic and visionary figures of 20th-century Italian design. An immersive installation, inspired by Mollino’s interiors—where curtains and textiles fluidly shape the space—and by the organic forms of the human body combined with the dynamism of movement across snow, track, and sky, creates a unique setting for the table. Presented within a dedicated environment, it marks a significant moment in the rediscovery of Mollino’s visionary legacy.
