Putrella table, designed to embody the gentle virtue of hospitality, starting from the raw strength of construction site materials.
A balance between industrial matter and human warmth — where design becomes a gesture of welcome.

In this New York timeless project, the private elevator opens into an entrance enveloped in deep, black Xorel, a rubberized and washable linen that amplifies the dramatic height of the space. Above, a Venini chandelier with glass elements specially crafted to order by Carlo Scarpa, cascades light across the ceiling, setting a seamless dialogue between old-world craftsmanship and contemporary vision.

A unit repeated several times defines a system for creating balanced forms in a building, at the same time, the use of repeated and reiterated elements involving slight modifications is the result of a careful research on the paths and purposes of each space. In this Milan apartment, the arch is a portal capable of invitation and protection through the use of opaque glass, arched passageways with iron padding and mirrored doors or reflective mirrors.

“The rhythm of the arches recalls the rhythm of the building - says ML referring to the arched passages between the living area and the study, a solution with great scenographic impact - it is an operation that I would never propose elsewhere, but here it is in harmony with the context and makes sense. My idea always starts with understanding where you are and then framing the intervention.”

Virtual flowers, neon and post-industrial display cases in the heart of the Brera District. The boutique by the Locatelli Partners profoundly recalls her identity and style. This project is connected to the Milanese jewel designer's childhood memories: pink, the color chosen for the interiors of the boutique, is the same as her bedroom, both designed by Massimiliano Locatelli.

Something midway between the past, the present, and the future: the 200 Lanterna
lamps in the building seemingly floating in the air were designed and developed expressly for the Le Square Épicier Fin in Vietnam.
Everything in this project moves around the reinterpretation of a local element, the traditional Hoi An’s silk lanterns, that becomes a distinctive sign and joint between the exterior and interior of a large Frenc épicerie located in an ancient mansion in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
The naked version of Lanterna has despoiled the structure, allowing the circular frameset to be seen.
