Take a look our website and discover how we design. Not everything we do goes as we would like. This design for a museum is one of those. We did our best but unfortunately we had troubles uploading the design on the competition portal. So we weren't admitted in the competition. But we love very much this design. So we share with pleasure it with you.

This evening the exhibition of projects for an open-air cinema in the Colombaia park in Ischia is going to open. The projects were selected by a competition that has highlighted the value, not only architectural but cultural in the round, of these places where Luchino Visconti had organized a landscape architecture made up of architectures to practice the art of theater...

Our – To be or not to be!? Facing a competition so difficult, in one of the most famous square of the world we decided to “take the bull by its own horns” as we say in Italian. In front of the Mengonian arc of the Galleria entrance from Piazza del Duomo, we put an arc to connect the Piero Portaluppi’s Arengario radical twins. We designed an arc filled of lightnings which goes from Fontana hall to the new contemporary art gallery to the other Arengario. An arc full of energy which involves the visitors to be part of the void that surrounds it. A void made by the same air, view and sky of the Piazza del Duomo where visitors can float moving from the current Italo Rota path toward the new spaces of the “wunderkammer” of the temporary exhibit dedicated to the nowadays artists. The arc contains a double path so that the visitors can visit the exhibition following a one way flow.
