From urban isolation to visual rebirth. Architect Alessia Maggio (AMAART) summarizes the transformation of Rome’s Valle Aurelia Station in four key steps: identifying the problem, confronting the design challenge, reimagining the metal panels, and embracing a philosophy that puts people back at the center of architecture.

For Alessia, design is not simply about creating a physical response to today's needs. It is about understanding human transformation and translating it into space. To observe the human being. Every stage brings the project closer to the original design vision, translating drawings, details, and material choices into built reality.

WHERE LIGHT REVEALS SPACE
**Sensitive Space is the moment when architecture becomes an experience.**

Architecture is not revealed all at once. Sometimes, it begins with a silhouette.
A narrow opening of light. A shadow between two walls. Then, as we move through space, something changes.

The texture of the stone becomes visible. The geometry begins to define the atmosphere. The height of the space creates a sense of scale. Light reveals what darkness was hiding.

This is where **Sensitive Space** begins.

For AMAART, architecture is experienced through more than form and function. It is perceived through light, material, proportion, movement, sound, temperature and time. Light does not simply illuminate architecture. It gives space depth, direction and emotion.
