Breaking News.

On October 3, 2026, an important journey came to completion: the Museum of the Collegiate Church of Sant’Andrea in Empoli reopened in its final configuration, following the completion of the project to improve physical and cognitive accessibility.
Studio ZAG was responsible for the architectural design, interior exhibition design, and construction supervision of a unified project developed in two phases, which now gives the city a renewed Museum — more accessible, more welcoming, and with a stronger identity.
Adding a new chapter to a place with over 1,000 years of history, at the heart of Empoli, came with a great sense of responsibility. We approached it with the utmost respect, while keeping our eyes firmly on the future.
