🇧🇪 A renewed partnership, new machinery and fresh prospects for production: we welcomed Mr. Theo Smeets, Technical Director of the Belgian company ERGON NV/SA, for a day filled with exciting developments.
The partnership between Nordimpianti and Ergon began in 2008 with the supply of Ergon’s first Extruder casting machine. Since then, the relationship has continued to grow to the mutual satisfaction of both companies.
The visit provided an opportunity to inspect the new machinery purchased by Ergon ahead of shipment, with delivery and commissioning scheduled by the end of 2026. During his visit, Mr. Smeets was able to see first-hand the quality of the machines ordered, as well as other equipment currently under manufacturing by Nordimpianti for other customers.
The new equipment package includes an automatic angle saw, an automatic multifunction cleaner, a plotter and a semi-automatic concrete aspirator fitted with an automatic guillotine and an automatic fresh-concrete saw.
The machines will soon be commissioned at the Lier plant, enabling Ergon to increase production and, above all, improve the efficiency of its entire production system.
The package also includes BAC software, enabling real-time planning, monitoring and optimization of both the production process and the new equipment, further enhancing productivity and operational control.
