Celebrating Perfect Lines: Lancia Gamma Turns 50.

When the Lancia Gamma made its debut in 1976, it challenged the conventions of executive car design. Styled by Pininfarina, its distinctive proportions, flowing roofline and aerodynamic surfaces introduced a new vision of elegance, one that anticipated design trends that would shape the automotive world for decades to come.

Alongside the Berlina, the Gamma Coupé distilled this vision into its purest form. Combining tension and restraint, grace and precision, it embodied the confidence of Italian design at its most forward-thinking. Its low roofline, expansive glasshouse and beautifully balanced proportions established it as one of Pininfarina’s finest creations of the 1970s.

Fifty years later, the Lancia Gamma remains a testament to a rare kind of courage: the confidence to look beyond trends and shape the future.

Presenting Nerinea’s Jurassic Unique collection Design By Pininfarina.

The Jurassic Fossil, a unique stone which - as the name suggests - is rich in jurassic era fossils, finds a new dimension with this collection that aims to show the soul of the stone - literally - while at the same time combining the extreme opposites of the natural, course rock texture, with the sleek, dynamic vortex cuts that go through each piece.

Every piece by nature is unique and unreplicable. A glimpse back to over 150 years ago.

The collection has been unveiled at Hyatt’s Zoetry Hotel in Mallorca, and will be featured there up until October.

Racing in style.

For the Italian Grand Prix, Pininfarina designed the special MotoGP livery of the Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP Team, our very first project dedicated to the world of MotoGP.

Defined by essential lines and a bold red diagonal stroke inspired by the iconic Pininfarina Modulo, the design enhances the dynamic silhouette of the Yamaha machines competing in MotoGP and Moto2. Two subtle purple lines pay tribute to Prima Assicurazioni’s visual identity.

Pininfarina also designed the special rider suits, creating a cohesive visual identity where motorcycle and rider become one seamless expression of speed, performance, and design.

20 Years of a Dream: Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina.

Unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 2006, the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina remains one of the most striking one-off creations in modern automotive history.

Commissioned by collector James Glickenhaus, the project transformed a Ferrari Enzo into a unique coachbuilt masterpiece inspired by the racing legends of the 1960s. Designed, engineered and built by Pininfarina, it was conceived not as a showpiece, but as a fully drivable expression of performance, elegance, and exclusivity. Extensive aerodynamic testing at the Pininfarina Wind Tunnel in Grugliasco (Turin) ensured that form and performance evolved together seamlessly.

With its carbon-fibre body, butterfly doors, and meticulously crafted aerodynamic surfaces, the P4/5 embodies the perfect balance between heritage and innovation.

Twenty years on, it still stands as a pure symbol of bespoke car design artistry.

Celebrating 96 years of Pininfarina: a legacy of innovation and vision.

On May 22, 1930, Battista “Pinin” Farina founded a company that would shape the future of design for generations to come and become one of the world’s most enduring symbols of Italian excellence. Guided by an extraordinary intuition, Battista believed that design should not simply serve a function, but inspire emotion, embody elegance, and anticipate the future.

From the purity of its automotive masterpieces to its evolution across architecture, product design, and mobility, Pininfarina has always remained faithful to the vision of its founder: a timeless harmony between innovation and beauty, technology and human emotion.

Last year, this remarkable human and creative journey was celebrated through “Story of a Legend. Pininfarina”, the documentary written and directed by Marina Loi and Flavia Triggiani, and co-produced by and .production .

Nearly a century later, the vision of Battista “Pinin” Farina continues to guide us, shaping the future with the same spirit that started it all.
