HOTEL VILLA STEFANIA

We are pleased to share the approved redesign and extension of Hotel Villa Stefania in Innichen, South Tyrol.

Rather than redefining the existing hotel, the project builds upon its identity. Warm natural materials, finely crafted timber façades and a restrained architectural language shape a contemporary interpretation while preserving the spirit of the place.

The design embraces continuity over contrast, demonstrating that thoughtful evolution can be just as meaningful as transformation.
Every design decision was driven by a single ambition: to create spaces that feel timeless, authentic and deeply connected to their surroundings.

DER EGGERHOF

Following the completion of the Eggerhof, nestled within the South Tyrolean Alps, BERGUNDTAL initiated and published a publication reflecting on the project beyond its built form. Conceived as an editorial exploration of architecture, landscape and atmosphere, the book translates the spatial qualities of the project into a visual and tactile narrative. Transparency, reflection, materiality and the relationship between building and topography shape both the architecture and the publication itself.

Gisse 12 liegt ruhig am Dorfrand von Gais im Pustertal. Das Apartmenthaus öffnet sich mit klaren Linien und warmem Holz zur umliegenden Landschaft und lässt Licht tief in die Räume fließen. Großzügige Fenster und geschützte Loggien schaffen Übergänge zwischen innen und außen, zwischen Ankommen und Loslassen. Hier entstehen Orte für Rückzug, für Ruhe und für Zeit, die sich wieder leicht anfühlt. Ein Haus für Menschen, die Stille suchen, ohne auf Offenheit zu verzichten.

Gisse Zwölf is located at the quiet edge of the village of Gais in the Puster Valley. The apartment house opens toward its surroundings through clear lines and warm timber, allowing daylight to flow deep into the interiors. Large windows and sheltered loggias create gentle transitions between inside and outside, between arrival and release. A place for retreat, for calm, and for moments that slow down. A home for those who seek silence without giving up openness.
