‘Industrial Cosy – soft colours, cosy atmosphere’

The original flat had a separate kitchen, small windows and correspondingly dark rooms. The installation of large windows and the removal of the dividing wall to the kitchen and the wall to the corridor created open, light-flooded areas that can still be zoned thanks to an elegant glass wall.
Until now, the stairwell had only been lit by narrow window slits. These were enlarged and fitted with web glass to optimally capture daylight while maintaining privacy.
To create a bright, inviting atmosphere, we chose a soft colour scheme of grey and beige tones for the kitchen fronts and the colour scheme of the bathroom. These subtle shades reflect the available light perfectly, making the rooms appear larger and more open, while also providing a calm backdrop for the striking design accents.
The client loves the ‘industrial style’ with black-framed industrial windows, as seen in factories from the early 20th century. These robust, graphic elements create an exciting contrast to the soft colours, while the herringbone parquet flooring adds warmth and texture to the rooms as a natural material. This creates a harmonious balance between industrial character and cosy comfort.
The combination of soft colours, natural materials and striking details makes the flat a harmonious home: bright, lively, yet calming – a place that radiates personality and invites you to feel at ease.

Colour, light and hobbies – An Apartment Full of Personality

Moving from a long-time family home to a city apartment is a big step, especially when hobbies are an important part of life. For our client, a passionate hobby baker, this passion inspired the apartment’s design.
A high-quality built-in oven takes centre stage in the kitchen, framed by an arch reminiscent of the client’s old garden oven. A round, fixed tray serves as a kneading surface, while a circular spice rack adds a soft, meditative touch.
The vibrant colour scheme of deep blue and magenta is complemented by golden accents, creating warmth and elegance. The master bathroom features blue palm-patterned tiles, with wall lights casting playful shadows that echo the foliage.
Personal mementos, like family table legs, are given new life with a coat of blue paint, blending tradition with contemporary design.
This project demonstrates how architecture and interior design can merge personality, memories, and passion – a home that celebrates hobbies and joy of living.

Architectural Gem in the Heart of Merano

The historic Steinach district is home to a unique Building.
With its richly decorated façade—cornices, capitals, and curved wrought-iron balcony railings it radiates the charm of the 19th century.
The fourth floor, added in 1897 by architect Pietro Delugan, has now been carefully renovated and redesigned. An original staircase leads up to the two new attic apartments.
The focus of the refurbishment was light and wide views: Bright, airy spaces that invite lingering have been created thanks to generously opened gable windows leading to the terrace and semi-open loggias facing south.

The renovation in Meran celebrates the eclectic style of the Belle Époque. We drew inspiration from the richly decorated façade and the floral window handles to create a unique interior design concept.

Specially crafted stencils bring Art Nouveau patterns to the walls. The color scheme moves between vibrant, inspired tones and a calmer, contrasting palette. The historic tiled stoves were restored and modernized. Bordeaux-red skirting boards and light blue-grey furniture set stylish accents.

Bathrooms and WCs surprise with glossy red and deep blue washbasins, alongside floral wallpaper patterns.

The result: A harmonious blend of historic substance and modern living quality. Tradition meets contemporary spirit!
