Location: Los Angeles, California, USA
Project Type: Luxury Hotel & Hospitality Development
Design Concept: Contemporary Organic Modern Luxury
Project Statement
House Beautiful Hotel is a proposed luxury hospitality project envisioned for Los Angeles, California, developed and designed by the House Beautiful team, with architectural design by Majid Mirahmadi.
The architectural identity of the project is rooted in Contemporary Organic Modernism, combining Organic Modernism, Soft Minimalism, Biophilic Design and subtle Neo-Art-Deco influences into a unified luxury hospitality language.
The design avoids conventional classical ornamentation and instead creates luxury through proportion, curvature, natural materials, integrated lighting, landscape, transparency and spatial experience.
The building is conceived as a fluid architectural composition in which sweeping curves, layered terraces, panoramic glazing and integrated vegetation create a continuous dialogue between architecture and nature.
A defining principle of the project is the use of continuous curvature. The curved architectural elements are not merely decorative gestures; they establish visual continuity, guide movement and create a recognizable identity for the hotel.
The extensive terraces introduce a strong biophilic strategy, bringing vegetation into the vertical architecture and creating elevated gardens throughout the building. This approach softens the relationship between the built environment and the surrounding urban landscape.
The hotel’s interior architecture follows the same design language. Warm wood, light natural stone, soft neutral tones, sculptural furniture, rounded geometries and layered indirect lighting create a sophisticated yet calm atmosphere.
House Beautiful Hotel is envisioned as an architectural destination in Los Angeles where hospitality, wellness, landscape and contemporary luxury converge into a singular spatial identity
