The CII Southern Region Sub-Committee on Green Transition, Energy Security & ESG Leadership is committed to accelerating Southern India's transition to a low-carbon economy by promoting renewable energy adoption, advancing sector-specific decarbonisation pathways, strengthening industry collaboration, enabling policy advocacy, facilitating knowledge sharing, and building capacity to support India's net-zero ambitions.

The Sub-Committee has established four strategic Task Forces:

Inclusive Growth, ESG Outcomes & Community Resilience
Renewable Energy Scale-Up & Net-Zero Pathways
Water Security & Circular Water Economy
Urban Waste Management, Recycling & Circularity

As MEMBER of the Renewable Energy Scale-Up & Net-Zero Pathways Task Force, Mr. Burra Phani Chandra will play a significant role in shaping strategies that accelerate renewable energy deployment, enhance energy security, support industrial decarbonisation, and contribute meaningfully to India's climate commitments.

We are proud to announce that Eshaan Energy⁠has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement Solar Rooftop Services as part of the prestigious Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Pilot Project in Narakoduru , Guntur District , Andhra Pradesh .

The MoU was signed today in the esteemed presence of Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani,
Union Minister of State in the Government of India , marking a significant step towards sustainable rural development and clean energy adoption.

As a key partner in this transformative initiative, Eshaan Energy will support the deployment of rooftop solar solutions that will contribute to:

* Clean and reliable energy access
* Reduced electricity costs for rural communities
* Sustainable village infrastructure
* Strengthening Digital India through green energy integration.

The Samriddh Gram initiative aims to create a replicable model for rural transformation by integrating digital services, connectivity, healthcare, education, agriculture, financial inclusion, and renewable energy solutions through BharatNet-enabled infrastructure.
