How long will the pain last?”
a broken hearted person asked me.
“All the rest of your Life.”
I have to answer truthfully.
We never quite forget.

No matter how many years pass, we remember.
The loss of a loved one is like a major part of us is removed,
and we have a scar for the rest of our lives.
As years go by, we manage.
There are things to do, people to care for,
tasks that call for full attention. But the pain is still there,
not far below the surface.

We see a face that looks familiar,
hear a voice that echoes,
see a photograph in someone’s album,
see a landscape that once we saw together,
and it seems as though a knife were in the wound again.
But not so painfully.
And mixed with joy, too.
Because remembering a happy time is not all sorrow,
it brings back happiness with it.

How long will the pain last?
All the rest of your life.
But the things to remember is that not only the pain will last,
but the blessed memories as well.
Tears are proof of life.
The more love, the more tears.

एक लड़की जो तन्हा रहती थी
दिल की बात किसी से ना कहती थी
दिल में उसके एक अजीब सी कश म कश थी
वो एक उलझन को सुलझाने में लगी हैं थी
कोई था जिससे उसने बेपनाह प्यार किया
उसकी खुशियों के लिए अपनी खुशियों को वार दिया
उसके लिए मोहब्बत सिर्फ उस लड़के का नाम था
मर जाना मोहब्बत में उसके लिए आम था
मगर किस्मत को ये मंजूर ना हुआ
हो गया वो दूर लडकी से, मगर लडकी का दिल उससे दूर ना हुआ
खोई सिर रहने लगी, चुप चाप हर दर्द सहने लगी
उसकी आंखो में जो चमक थी,वो आसुओं में बहने लगी
फिर उससे कोई ऐसा मिला
जो उससे बेपनाह प्यार करता था
वो कहीं छोड़ ना जाए उसे
वो हमेशा इस बात से डरता था
लड़की भी उसे खुद से ज़्यादा चाहने लगी
उसे अब समझ ही नहीं आ रहा था की ये गलत है या सही
फिर से ज़िंदगी उसे मोहब्बत के बाज़ार में ले के आई थी
पर खुशियों के बीच उसकी उलझनों की बदरी सी छाई थी
समझ ना पा रही थी की कोन सच्चा प्यार है
जो छोर गया उससे,या जो हर ज़ख्म उठाने को तैयार है
पहली मोहब्बत को वो याद रक्खे के भुला दे उसे
खुद नाराज़ रहे ज़िंदगी से भी,और अपना जवाब देकर रुला दे उसे
क्या आप दें सकते हैं, जवाब उसके सवालात को????
क्या आप समझ सकते हैं उस लड़की के जज्बातों को???
