This master bedroom feels calm and elevated the moment you enter. The sage-green bed backdrop looks like limewash, but it’s a paint-and-texture finish that gives the same cloudy depth without the cost or delay. The grey concrete-textured ceiling adds a modern, earthy touch.

The full-height fluted panel behind the bed is the hero, seamlessly hiding a washroom door and a structural column, making the room feel larger and clutter-free. A glass sliding-folding door leads to a walk-in closet converted from an extra bedroom, moving storage out of the sleeping zone for a true retreat feel.
From the hidden shoe storage behind the mirror to the vertical bed-back detailing, every element is designed to maximize space—turning a compact master into a Pinterest-style suite without adding square footage.

Some homes don't just occupy a site, they reinterpret it.

This 3,755 sq. ft. residence in Akota is our exploration of contemporary architecture through the lens of Kerala-inspired design. Exposed brick, lime-finished textures, and thoughtfully framed openings come together to create a home that feels rooted, calm, and unmistakably modern.

The most interesting part? When space limited the traditional verandah, we didn't remove the idea, we reimagined it. Sometimes the best design decisions come from constraints.

• An internal courtyard improves daylight, ventilation, and spatial openness.
• Separate service circulation enhances functionality without compromising aesthetics.
