On 30th June 2026 Forest department bids adieu to its : stalwart ,epitome of wisdom, man of Principles, noble n dynamic leader , beyond doubt man of integrity Mr Zubair Ahmad Shah ( DCF SG) on his superannuation after rendering selfless , dedicated , sincere , disciplined , determined ,innovative services for long 22 years
Mr Zubair Ahmad Shah SFS ( DCF SG) has served Forest department as Range Officer, Principle Kashmir Training School Chiternar Bandipora , DFO Bandipora , DFO Demarcation Kashmir , Deputy Director Forest Protection Force Shopian , Divisional Manager FDC Baramullah , General Manager FDC South / North Circle , Joint Director Forest Protection Force Kashmir , Conservator of Forests Srinagar Circle ,Regional Director DEERS and Regional Director Soil and Water Conservation etc and has rendered noteworthy , distinguished , services every where and has contributed immensely to forest protection , ecology and environment conservation and has set his foot prints where ever posted. More ever has set a bench mark of professional conduct , zeal , enthusiasm , dedication , devotion and commitment for young budding officers n officials of Forest Department
Further more , he has served SKUAST- K in the capacity of Junior Scientist - cum- Assistant Professor at Regional Research Station and Faculty of Agriculture Sadura for a reasonable time and have imparted quality Forestry Education to hundreds of students dozens of them are serving the nation as Scientists, Adminstrative services Officers ,Indian Forest Service Officers , State Forest Service Officers etc
