Established in the year 2003, Studio VDGA is a nuanced Architecture design studio based out of INDIA

The design philosophy of the studio lies in creating the “TIMELESS MEANINGFULL SPACES” through the means of art & architecture which in turn would induce harmony, happiness & peace in the lives of the end users. In order to achieve this, the architects make the maximum use of natural light, ventilation & locally available natural building almost in all their projects. The architects believe in creating architecture, which primarily responds to its context more than defining a signature style for them. The firm has been known to practice “Contemporary Indian” architecture, working towards the synergy of contemporary and traditional styles. They have carried forward the latest trends in architecture while still imbibing the traditional elements in their designs.

Dezeen says - the project is one of just 152 projects selected from more than 4,300 entries across 91 countries and 19 architecture categories.

Honoured to share our project ‘The Brick House’, Pune, has received the ID Honours Award 2026 by India Design ID in the Residential Design category.

Conceived as a dialogue between form, function, and context, the home reinterprets brick as both material and architectural language thus creating a space that is sustainable, sensory, and soulful.

Grateful to the jury for this recognition, and congratulations to all fellow winners and nominees.
