Exposed brick isn’t just a finish — it’s a feeling. It carries warmth, honesty, and timelessness.
When we started studio_sthala, one of our core design goals was to bring natural, breathable architecture back into conversation — especially here in Bihar, where such techniques had almost disappeared from modern design language.
I’m proud to share that we were among the first in Bihar to actively revive and refine exposed brickwork — not just as a stylistic feature, but as an architectural statement. And today, it’s become a signature element across many of our projects — from cafes and clinics to resorts and homes.
What sets it apart?
Zero plaster, zero pretention — pure material honesty
Beautiful aging over time — the surface gains character
Sustainability — reduced cement use, local material integration
Thermal comfort — cooler interiors, naturally
These bricks don’t hide behind paint — they speak.
Every alignment, joint and curve matters — and that’s where the craft truly lies.
If you’ve seen one of our brick facades or interiors in person, you know what we mean. If not, I’d love to show you how we do it.
