Does light really matter?
Absolutely.
In architecture, light does more than illuminate a building — it gives the project its identity after sunset. For the upcoming Space Museum, Kharghar, designed by Entitty Architects for Panvel Municipal Corporation, lighting becomes a key part of the experience.
The façade lighting concept is designed to enhance the museum’s futuristic and organic form, making sure the building feels just as powerful at night as it does during the day.
A luminous flexible LED strip traces the main structure, highlighting its fluid geometry and creating a striking visual character.
The front curtain wall transforms into a media façade, capable of displaying dynamic content, motion visuals, graphics, and special occasion lighting.
With the use of gobos, porch lighting, and illuminated columns, the architecture becomes more interactive, expressive, and memorable.
Light does not just reveal the design.
It completes it.
