Meet Mukesh Kumar from Chandigarh, a 3rd year student of Mechanical Engineering from Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Mukesh has two older siblings, a sister and a brother and loves playing cricket and listening to music in his free time when he is not reading newspapers.

He is proud to represent his college at the finals of aQuest 2020 and is eagerly looking forward to the finals experience.

From Punjab, here is Ajay Kumar from Chitkara University and diploma holder from Government Polytechnic College, Mohali. An alumnus of Public Modern Senior Secondary School in Rajpura, Ajay has the unfortunate distinction of being the middle child, sandwiched between an elder sister and a younger brother.

Ajay loves playing cricket and volleyball and enjoys listening to music.

He is proud to have made it to the finals of aQuest2020 as a representative of his college and his state. It is not being the finalist in itself that gives him joy but the pride his parents and grandmother derive from seeing him in the finals.

He hasn't decided what he will do with the winnings if he were to win aQuest. But it is most likely that he will be sharing it all with his parents.

And here is Jeet Dipankumar Vyas, our other North Zone semifinal winner and finalist at aQuest 2020. A final year student of Mechanical Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering, Jeet too is a lifelong native of Ahmedabad. Born here, studied here (he counts Sarvodaya Vidhyamandir and Sahajanand School among his alma maters), Jeet loves Thermodynamics and Manufacturing.

After finishing his education, Jeet is looking forward to working with an organisation that allows him the freedom to apply his knowledge and skills in a learning environment.

Jeet loves reading - all kinds of books - in his down time. He also loves watching movies and science shows and movies about science and shows about movies. And like any true India, he loves playing cricket.

Jeet has absolutely enjoyed his journey through aQuest. He enjoyed meeting people from across India and feels the experience has increased his confidence levels. If he wins aQuest2020, the first thing he will do is buy a brand new laptop. Maybe he could ask our Nitin Naik for suggestions on which model to buy.

Meet Jay Gordhanbhai Vaghela, our first finalist from the Chandigarh semis at aQuest 2020. A final year student of Mechanical Engineering, Jay is a lifelong Amdavadi who loves Thermodynamics and Mathematics.

After early schooling in Democratic School, Jay moved to Jay Somnath School in Maninagar for his Class XII, continuing his lifelong loyalty to Ahmedabad. With two older siblings - a brother and a sister, we won't believe Jay if he says he's not spoilt royally at home.

Jay loves reading comic books. A true democrat, he devours both Marvel and DC comics with equal diligence. He also loves story books, especially Vikram and Vetaal. When not reading comics, Jay spends his time playing games across platforms, exploring memes on Facebook and solving maths and science equations while watching videos on maths and science.

After graduation, Jay wants to work in a field where he can learn more about engineering while also being involved in research.

Being a finalist in aQuest 2020 has made Jay more self-confident and happy. He is encouraged by the fact that his friends and family are proud of him too. If he wins, he has definite plans to treat his friends and teachers.

He loves aQuest especially because he had never travelled outside Gujarat before but aQuest 2020 took him to Mumbai and Chandigarh and is now transporting him to Delhi. He is absolutely sure the finals will be a wonderful experience and can't wait for the first buzzer to ring.

Meet Biswayan Chattopadhyay, a 3rd year student of Mechanical Engineering background. Biswayan's specialization includes Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) and he is quite interested in Automobiles. Not surprising for someone born and raised in Jamshedpur.

Biswayan believes Jamshedpur has shaped the early part of his life and imprinted itself on his persona. Biswayan did his schooling from DAV Public School, Bistupur. He believes being an only child helped him become self-dependent from a very young age. He is under no illusions about his musical skills but is nevertheless fascinated with the guitar. He loves reading though, especially crime thriller and political affairs. He enjoys gaming too, even id he says it is only to stimulate his analytical skills.

After graduation, Biswayan aims to continue education in the Renewable Energy space.

He believes becoming a finalist at aQuest will truly test his technical knowledge and he's looking forward to the opportunity. If he wins aQuest, Biswayan plans to contribute a portion of the winnings to his college student chapter that gave him the opportunity to represent the east zone. Biswayan plans to use the remaining portion of the prize money for his final year project.

He loves aQuest because he believes it has been an excellent learning experience. Biswayan thinks aQuest has challenged him and allowed him to become the best version of himself while also giving him the opportunity to enjoy every moment of the journey.

Meet Sagnik Dutta, returning finalist from aQuest 2019. A final year student of Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, Sagnik was one of our runners-up last year.

Sagnik's interest predominantly lies in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning but he is also fascinated by Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machines.

Born in Kolkata, Sagnik has been a native all his life. He is not looking forward to a time when he may have to leave Kolkata, leaving behind cherished memories.

Even though not formally trained, he enjoys playing the harmonium. When it comes to reading, it is stuff from the curriculum first and crime thrillers later, especially anything written by Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie.

His career goal is crystal clear: he wants to join a reputed HVAC company after graduation.

He is eagerly waiting for the finals. Knowing the finish line is so close is cause for a major adrenaline rush.

After (no ifs for Sagnik) winning aQuest, he plans to contribute a portion of his winnings to his college chapter and the rest to his mother to put a smile on her face.

aQuest has been an experience of a lifetime for Sagnik. Not just this year. Even reaching the finals last year was a trip. It has helped him come out of his comfort zone and discover skills like risk taking, cooperation and coordination. In passing, he wants to wish all the other finalists and wishes he could come back to aQuest next year as well.
