The aangan enclosure went through multiple iterations and calculations before we arrived at the final composition. Each element was then fabricated in the workshop, assembled and hand-finished on site to achieve the depth, texture and character of the form. This is how the centrepiece of the Mahindra & Mahindra showroom came together, turning an eccentric idea into reality.

Wrapped in a series of vertical slats, the aangan is conceived as a permeable space, open enough to remain visually connected to the showroom, yet intimate enough to encourage pause and conversation.

The sculpted language of Mahindra’s vehicles extends into the architecture. Carefully detailed forms and seamless contours echo their bold, rugged character, creating a cohesive dialogue between the cars and the surroundings.

A new identity deserves a new kind of space. Mahindra & Mahindra’s shift towards a more contemporary and globally oriented design language called for a showroom that could move beyond the conventions of automotive retail.
