The layout is structured around clarity and ease of movement. Parallel counters organise the space, establishing a quiet rhythm while maintaining clear sightlines across the room. Generous spacing between elements prevents visual congestion and allows each zone to function comfortably without overlap.
As a result, the space feels ordered and balanced, where its design supports the experience without making it overwhelming.

Details here are kept deliberate and tactile.
The counter is proportioned for comfort, with softened edges and a restrained palette that carries through the space. Vertical fluting, warm wood, and subtle accents introduce some rhythm.

Rather than adding layers, the design relies on repetition and consistency, further enhancing the space.

Typology : 1200sqft retail
This zone is designed as a working part of the store.
Open shelving allows staff to access and present pieces as needed, while the central counter is sized for comfortable viewing and discussion.
A consistent material palette and controlled lighting keep the space composed, supporting a slower, more deliberate way of engaging with the collection.

Typology : 1200sft Retail store

As the space takes shape, it settles into a quiet rhythm.
Soft curves, neutral tones, and an open layout allow the garments to ease into focus. Ceiling patterns, circulation, and material choices work gently in the background—shaping movement and framing views without asking for attention.
What remains is a calm setting, where the craft feels at ease and unforced.

The mural at the landing blurs the line between indoors and outdoors, making the climb to the first floor feel calm and not very hurried. The foliage brings in a sense of depth and openness, almost like standing by a balcony with a view. Paired with the wooden railing and soft light, this corner becomes a quiet pause between two levels, a small transition space that feels both intimate and expansive at once.

The entry to the store was designed to ease visitors into the store rather than draw attention to a counter. The billing desk was intentionally blended into the space, detailed to remain visually quiet so the garments and natural light define the first impression. Integrated storage and restrained finishes help the area function efficiently without becoming a focal point.

The store was designed around how garments were supported, framed, and experienced throughout the space. Display units were treated as built-in elements, with proportions and spacing kept deliberate to maintain visual calm.
Vertical fluted surfaces were used across the store to break scale and introduce rhythm, while mirror placement was carefully considered to support movement and trial without disrupting flow.
The client wished for a sense of quiet grandeur on entry, which was addressed through the floral panel—ornamental in intent but kept monotone to add depth, not distraction.
Warm, marble-toned lighting and minimal metal details brought clarity and balance, allowing the clothes to remain the focus.

This 1200 sq.ft ethnic wear store was designed with the intent of supporting the product through clarity in planning rather than overt ornamentation. Proportions, heights, and circulation were carefully resolved to create a calm and intuitive browsing experience across both levels.
Textured panels and crafted details introduce richness at close range, while the overall material language remains restrained to avoid visual clutter.
The white wall, detailed with subtle floral relief was created to add depth and cultural reference without becoming a focal point. We used a hint of marble through the wall light to enhances the warmth of the surfaces, and minimal metal accents were used sparingly to introduce precision and contrast.
The space is intentionally restrained, allowing it to remain relevant beyond trends.

We can’t contain our excitement as we share a first look at our latest 1200 sft ethnic store.
A calm, craft-led space with natural elements and an undertone of culture that inspires.
It’s been a long journey, and we’re so glad to finally reveal it
