KEC International was honoured to participate in the National Conference on Power Transmission 2026, centred around the theme "Powering Viksit Bharat 2047: The Transmission Imperative."

Our MD & CEO, Vimal Kejriwal, joined industry leaders and policymakers during the inaugural session, where he emphasised the need for faster, technology-driven and collaborative ex*****on models to accelerate transmission infrastructure development and support India's energy transition.

Team KEC recently met the Honourable Minister of Energy, Guinea, Mr Laye Sekou Camara, during its visit to Guinea.

The Honourable Minister appreciated KEC’s ongoing progress on the 225 kV Linsan–Manéah Transmission Line project, including the Transmission Line, Substation and Underground Cabling works, along with the strong focus being maintained on Quality, Safety, EHS and ESG initiatives.

The project aims to strengthen Guinea’s high voltage transmission backbone and support the country’s future grid expansion plans.

During the meeting, Team KEC reaffirmed its commitment towards timely project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The discussions also explored future opportunities to support Guinea’s expanding power infrastructure network.

Successfully commissioned and commenced Operation & Maintenance of the Bheden & Barpali Water Supply Project in Bargarh District, Odisha, marking a significant step towards strengthening rural drinking water infrastructure and improving access to safe and reliable water supply.

Implemented with the support and guidance of the Government of Odisha and the Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Department, the project will provide drinking water access to ~3.6 lakh people across 166 villages and 43 Gram Panchayats through 58,000 household tap connections.

We are pleased to announce the successful commissioning and energisation of the 132 kV / 22 kV Yas 2 substation.

Developed as part of a ring main system, the substation enhances the reliability and stability of the 132 kV network in UAE. The project will support seamless power distribution to key commercial zones and residential developments across Yas Island.

Mr. Ganesh Srinivasan, President – Transmission & Distribution, moderated the panel discussion on “Industry Perspectives: On-the-Ground Experiences from Africa”, sharing insights from KEC’s extensive presence across the continent.

Mr. Aditya Bansal, VP – Commercial, Accounts & Insurance, represented KEC International as a panelist during the session on “Key Challenges and Risk Mitigation Strategies in African Markets”, discussing commercial risks, financing challenges and mitigation approaches for infrastructure projects across Africa.

The conference brought together industry leaders, financial institutions and policymakers to explore opportunities for deeper economic engagement and sustainable growth.
