Memories by the Shore – A Home Woven Through Time

Nestled along the coastline, this stunning 3,800 sq. ft. sea-facing duplex is conceived as a refined expression of memory, comfort and everyday grace. A soft palette of ivory, warm neutrals and muted blues creates a serene backdrop for tactile upholstery, sculptural furniture and carefully collected objects. Indian artworks, traditional sculptures and artisanal details introduce a deeper cultural resonance, while natural light filters through the home, lending warmth to polished stone, layered rugs and richly textured fabrics.

A gentle sense of nostalgia flows through the interiors, where familiar forms and objects from the past are thoughtfully reinterpreted within a contemporary setting. Old-world charm and modern living come together through considered craftsmanship, layered materiality and pieces chosen for the stories they carry. The result is a deeply personal retreat by the sea—one that honours heritage, celebrates individuality and expresses quiet luxury through warmth, character and timeless design.

Where architecture flows with the landscape.

Set within the lush, undulating terrain of Wai, Maharashtra, this hospitality retreat is envisioned as an extension of nature—where sweeping curves, layered terraces and expansive glazing create a seamless dialogue between built form and the Western Ghats.

A refined palette of warm beige surfaces, champagne-toned details and low-reflective glazing brings understated luxury to the retreat, while integrated greenery softens every edge. Here, architecture doesn’t compete with the landscape; it frames it, embraces it and allows nature to remain the heart of the experience.

A quiet sense of theatre unfolds across veined marble, burnished metal and finely composed displays, each surface catching the light with measured brilliance. Sculptural chandeliers drift overhead like illuminated fabric, while intricate botanical motifs trace the walls with the delicacy of hand-drawn jewellery—turning architecture itself into an object of adornment.

Yet beneath the grandeur lies a softer rhythm. Curved seating, intimate consultation tables and warm pools of light invite pause, allowing each piece to be encountered slowly and personally.
