🚫Can the quality of concrete be determined solely by a slump test? The answer is NO.

The slump test is primarily used to assess the workability and consistency of fresh concrete. A lower slump value does not necessarily indicate better quality, nor does a higher slump value automatically mean poor quality.

The recommended slump range varies depending on factors such as:
• Mix design
• Structural element (footings, columns, slabs, etc.)
• Method of placement (manual placing, pump, boom placer, etc.)

Understanding these differences is essential for ensuring proper concrete placement and performance on site.
