Giving Sparrows a Home Again 🐦🌿
Cities are growing, but sadly the homes of sparrows are disappearing.
As an architecture student, I wanted to contribute in a small way.
This birdhouse is created by repurposing a 9-inch pipe joint, turning a waste construction material into a safe and cozy nesting space for sparrows. The pipe provides structure, while natural fibers create insulation and comfort for the birds.
This project reflects a simple idea:
Sustainability is not only about buildings, it's about creating spaces for every living being around us.
Let’s bring the sparrows back to our cities.
Small design interventions can create a big ecological impact. 🌍
