Every nation is built on a foundation of values.

For India, Gandhiji’s vision was rooted in truth, simplicity, self-reliance and peace.

As architects, we shape spaces for the future — but perhaps the most meaningful thing we can build is a future guided by the right values.
Remembering the man who helped shape the foundation of modern India. 🇮🇳

Upper Floor Lobby — Hotel Conversion Project

A quieter kind of luxury. 🤍
For the upper-floor lobby at The Residences, UAE, the design takes a more understated approach — creating a calm, intimate corridor that feels almost residential in character.

The warm wood finish runs continuously along the walls, giving the long passage a sense of continuity while keeping the material palette soft and understated. At floor level, concealed lighting gently traces the edges of the corridor, adding depth and helping define the pathway without relying on heavy decorative elements.

Above, the perforated ceiling introduces a delicate layer of detail, allowing light to filter through its pattern and transform an otherwise simple ceiling into a subtle feature.

The result is a space that doesn’t ask for attention —
it quietly holds it.

Lift Lobby — Hotel Conversion Project

Some spaces don’t need to be loud to leave an impression.

For the lift lobby at The Residences, UAE, we explored a quiet balance of warmth, rhythm and light — creating a space that feels refined, calm and effortless.

Warm timber-toned wall panels bring softness to the lobby, while the clean lines and restrained palette keep the space contemporary. Above, the perforated ceiling becomes more than just a lighting element — its pattern creates a subtle rhythm of light and shadow, adding character without overwhelming the space.

The continuous linear lighting at the lower edge of the walls gently guides movement through the corridor, making the transition between spaces feel seamless.
A simple palette. Thoughtful details.
And a lobby designed to make even the everyday journey feel a little more considered.
