where architecture and nature meet through movement, pause, and place. Set across 101 acres of contoured land in Coorg, the site unfolds through rolling slopes, dense vegetation, and a gently flowing seasonal stream. The natural terrain plays a defining role in how architecture, pathways, and open spaces are arranged, with every structure responding to the curves and filtered light of the forest. A central access road divides the site into two zones. The left side forms the active heart of the retreat, where a sensorial trail connects the entrance lobby, open plaza, wellness centre, clubhouse, pub, restaurant, luxury villas, a camping ground, and a zipline station. This trail guides both movement and emotion, inviting guests to slow down, explore, and engage with the land. The right side is shaped as a quieter, more private zone, where the hotel complex and 42 cottages are nestled into the slope. Each unit offers immersive views into the forested landscape. The two zones are tied together through a design that respects the ecological richness of the site. Zenari becomes not just a destination, but a journey shaped by terrain and experience.
