Some people join a team and slowly become family. ❤️

Shilly has been one of those people for all of us at Ajith Sunny Architects—immensely talented, dependable and warm, with a contribution to our studio that will always be remembered.

On a personal note, she has also been very close to me, which made it especially meaningful for our entire team to come together and celebrate her wedding.

As Shilly begins this beautiful new chapter and prepares for a new life in the Gulf, we are incredibly happy for her—even though we know we will miss having her around.

Dear Shilly, ₛₕᵢₗy thank you for everything you have brought to ASA. Wishing both of you a lifetime filled with love, happiness and wonderful new experiences.

Cochin to Mumbai—and one more important step forward for Christ Academy.

Yesterday’s journey was for a design discussion on the proposed school and college campus, spanning approximately 7.5 lakh sq. ft.

We are now moving towards sanction submission. With the NAINA registration completed, the process has gathered momentum, and we hope to hit the ground soon.

A long day, a productive meeting, and an exciting project moving closer to reality.

Some projects ask you to understand a space from the outside.
Healthcare asks you to understand it from the inside.

Today’s site visit took me beyond drawings and dimensions—and into the actual working environment of a surgical facility.

Changing into operation-theatre scrubs and stepping into the clinical environment gave me an opportunity to observe the space much more closely than an architect normally can.

For an architect, experiences like these matter. Understanding how doctors and clinical teams move, work and use a space helps us design healthcare environments that are more practical, efficient and human.

A very interesting healthcare renovation project lies ahead.

Some journeys begin long before the flight.

From Kochi, ASA’s journey beyond borders now reaches the UAE.

This week, I travelled to Sharjah to present our healthcare project at Sharjah Healthcare City.

My sincere thanks to Sharjah Healthcare City (SHCC) for the guidance, encouragement and warmth extended to us.

There is a long journey ahead—but this felt like a very special step forward.

Kochi built us. Sharjah opens a new chapter.
