From the first brick to the final façade, every project has a story of its own.

This residence brings together classical elements, grand volumes and carefully framed openings to create an architecture that makes a strong first impression. But before the vision comes to life, there are months of planning, on-site decisions and countless details that shape the final outcome.

These frames capture both sides of the journey: the vision as imagined and the work that brings it closer to reality.

Some things carry more than a name. They carry a point of view.

A glimpse of the identity behind Ankur & Sarvesh Architects, where every element reflects the thought, intent and character that shape our practice.

Because the way we present ourselves is an extension of the way we think, work and build.

A little playfulness can change the way a space feels.

This living space brings together bold geometry, sculptural furniture and a playful palette, creating an interior that feels expressive without losing its sense of ease.

From the suspended seating to the layered forms and generous natural light, each element adds to the character of the room while keeping it connected to everyday living.

Because sometimes, the most memorable spaces are the ones that don’t take themselves too seriously.

Some moments are about the award. Others are about everything that led to it.

Honoured to receive the D’List Award 2026 by GoodHomes India, a moment that celebrates not just the recognition, but the ideas, conversations, collaborations and people that have shaped our journey.

For us, this trophy is a reminder to keep questioning, creating and finding new ways to approach architecture and interiors.

Grateful to GoodHomes India for the recognition, and to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.

Before a space takes its final form, there is a whole story that happens behind it.

From studying drawings on site to working through proportions, structures and details, architecture takes shape through a constant exchange between an idea and the realities of building it.

These moments capture the project in progress, where plans begin to become physical, materials start defining spaces, and the vision slowly takes form on site.

Because the finished space is only one part of the story. The process behind it matters too.

The dining space was imagined as a place where form, colour and everyday life could come together.

At Nanu House, the dining area brings together custom-made furniture, fluid forms and a carefully balanced palette to create a space that feels expressive without becoming overwhelming.

The curved table and sculptural seating soften the stronger geometric language of the house, while the large openings bring natural light and the surrounding landscape into the room.

It is a space designed not just around the act of dining, but around gathering, interaction and the moments that happen around the table.

A staircase can be more than a way to move between floors.

At Nanu House, the staircase becomes part of the visual experience of the home. Bold red steps meet textured walls, artwork and surrounding greenery, turning a functional transition into a moment of colour, contrast and movement.

The intention was to make circulation feel less like a passage and more like an experience, where architecture, art and landscape come together along the journey.

Not everything about a workplace is written in the brief. Some of it is just knowing your people too well.

So we put the team to the test: Who’s more likely to do it, Ankur or Sarvesh?

Turns out, everyone has an answer. And some answers were very specific.

The vision was to make movement part of the architecture.

At Nanu House, the spaces are not experienced as isolated rooms. The passageways, framed views and changing volumes create a continuous journey through the house, allowing the architecture to reveal itself gradually as you move from one space to another.

The angled walls and generous openings constantly shift the relationship between the built form and the landscape, creating moments of enclosure, openness and pause along the way.

Here, movement becomes a way of experiencing the architecture.
