In Araku, the monsoon is the best thing to look at and the worst thing to sit in. 🌿
So we glazed this restaurant wall to wall in white uPVC. Rain rolls over the hills outside; inside it’s dry, bright and quiet enough to hear yourself think. Every table still gets the valley.
For a resort or a restaurant up here, that’s the whole point — the monsoon is your prettiest season and the one you normally lose half your seating to. Glass means you keep serving through it.
Doors open to the garden. At night the whole hall glows.
(Stay till the end for the resident husky. He supervised the entire installation.)
