From a compact footprint to a layered social experience.

Palette Restobar approaches the challenge of limited urban space by building upward - stacking parking, kitchen, bar, dining and terrace spaces into a vertically connected programme.

Each level carries its own character while remaining visually connected through circulation, double-height spaces and shared views. Exposed steel, brick, glazing and perforated metal screens shape an industrial language, while landscape and filtered light bring openness and comfort into the compact footprint.

The result is a restobar where the constraints of the site become the starting point for a more dynamic architectural experience.

Design is not just about what we see - it's about what we feel.

We were honoured to host Suchi Reddy, Founder & Principal of Reddymade, New York, at FHD Studio for an inspiring session on "Form Follows Feeling."

From architecture and art to neuroscience and technology, the conversation challenged us to rethink how thoughtful design can shape emotions, enrich human experiences, and create meaningful spaces.

A heartfelt thank you to Suchi Reddy for sharing her journey, philosophy, and invaluable insights with our team. Here's to more conversations that inspire creativity, curiosity, and purpose.

Architecture here is more than a destination - it's a narrative shaped by culture, climate, and craft.

The sculptural towers reinterpret the iconic Scottish distillery silhouette while drawing inspiration from the horses of Nagpur's Zero Mile Monument, creating a landmark that connects two identities through one architectural language.

Their parametric geometry is not merely expressive - it enhances passive cooling through the stack effect, making sustainability an integral part of the design.

Deep colonnades, fluid courtyards, reflective water bodies, and seamlessly connected gathering spaces create an immersive visitor experience where hospitality, heritage, and innovation coexist.

The result is a contemporary architectural expression that celebrates both the process of distilling and the experience of discovering it.

POV: A material selection day for the Alliance Bachupally Clubhouse.

Every project reaches a stage where ideas begin to transform into tangible experiences. From textures and finishes to colours and material palettes, each selection is carefully evaluated for its aesthetics, durability, and functionality.

Every decision made today contributes to creating spaces that are timeless, cohesive, and built to elevate everyday experiences.

Educational spaces often become inward-looking and dense.

This project explores an alternative approach fragmenting the built form into interconnected learning clusters organised around open spaces.

The strategy introduces daylight, natural ventilation, and visual connectivity throughout the campus, while creating intuitive circulation that encourages interaction beyond the classroom.

By transforming movement into part of the learning experience, the campus becomes more open, connected, and responsive to its users.

The Kannur resort is conceived as a response to its coastal context, where built form, climate, and movement are interdependent. The spatial planning prioritizes a porous ground condition, allowing the landscape and sea breeze to permeate through the site rather than being obstructed by continuous massing.

The built volumes are fragmented into low-rise clusters, creating intermediate voids that function as courtyards and transitional spill-out spaces. These voids are not residual—they act as climatic buffers, enabling cross ventilation and reducing heat gain.

Circulation is designed as a sequenced experience of thresholds—moving from shaded, compressed pathways into open, horizon-facing decks. This calibrated compression and release establishes a rhythm aligned with the coastal setting.

Materiality is restrained and context-driven. Textured masonry, timber elements, and muted surfaces are selected for their ability to weather over time while responding to humidity and saline conditions. Deep overhangs and recessed openings operate as passive shading devices, modulating light into softer, diffused layers.

Openings are strategically positioned to frame axial views of the landscape, while simultaneously facilitating airflow. The architecture avoids visual excess, instead relying on proportion, light quality, and material tactility to define the experience.

The project ultimately positions itself as an interface—between land and water, built and void, exposure and shelter.
