The Courtyard House — a modern take on traditional courtyard living, where every floor connects with nature. Daylight, marble, semi-precious stone, and landscape come together to create a home that feels earthy, grand, and timeless.

“There are 360 degrees, so why stick to one?”
-Zaha Hadid
Every angle tells its own story.
Every material adds another layer.
Together they create a home that feels complete from every point.

“Architecture isn’t about adding more. It’s about knowing what to leave out.” - Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

Every element has its own purpose here.
Deep overhangs that create shade. Landscape that becomes a part of the elevation. Clean lines that speak about the style without interruption.

In short, a home that balances the classic features with a modern style.

Natural light becomes an active element in this 11,300 sq.ft. modern home, moving across textures and surfaces to change the character of the interiors throughout the day. Openings are carefully placed to maintain a continuous dialogue with the surrounding landscape.

The planning allows spaces to feel connected without compromising on privacy, with the double-height living volume acting as a quiet anchor that brings the entire home together.

NA Architects x Design POV
The Oasis
Core 2026 | Mumbai

NA Architects created The Oasis - a desert pod where sand-toned spherical volumes wrap every wall, ceiling and frame, intended to dissolve into the sand dunes around them and become one with the landscape. Two arched openings connect the interior to the horizon beyond, grounding the space while making it feel infinite. A skylight ceiling mimics soft natural light, lifting the room from within.

But the design intention went beyond the visual. The theme was sense and sensibility - the spherical facade was conceived to spark curiosity before you even stepped inside, a semi-permeable frame that invites exploration rather than announcing it. Once in, every custom-fabricated texture, every curve and material choice was designed to be touched, wondered at, and slowly discovered - triggering not just sight, but feel.

Same floor plan. Two completely different aesthetic.

We designed one layout two ways - one leaning into warmth and layered texture, the other into contrast and clean finishes. Not to show range, but to show how little the structure actually dictates. The real decisions happen after the plan is drawn.
Same walls. Different everything else.

A chandelier built from glass and motion. Doors etched with pastoral scenes. A piano that doubles as sculpture.

Art does not hang on the walls here - it holds the walls up.

From folk traditions to geometry in shell and stone, each corner is a conversation between the hands that made it and the eye that discovers it.
