The Utthan Club, a CSR initiative of the Management Department at I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad successfully organised a special Independence Day activity for school students on 12th August 2025, with the objective of instilling patriotism, cultural awareness, and teamwork among young learners. The program was conducted in collaboration with local school authorities and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various grades.

The faculty coordinator, Prof Shilpi Rana and Utthan Club members welcomed the students and shared insights on the significance of India’s 79th Independence Day, highlighting the values of unity, diversity, and responsibility towards the nation.

A series of engaging activities were conducted, including:

Patriotic Dance Competition – Students showcased their singing talents with melodious renditions of national songs.

Speech & Poetry Recitation – Students presented inspiring speeches and self-composed poems on themes of independence and nation-building.

The event created a joyful and inspiring environment, motivating students to learn about India’s history and cultural richness in an interactive manner. Winners from each category were awarded gifts and certificates by Dr Ajay Kumar, Director, ITS School of Management as small tokens of appreciation.

The school teachers also expressed gratitude for the initiative, noting its positive impact on student engagement and patriotic awareness.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of refreshments. The event was a true reflection of unity, enthusiasm, and love for the motherland.
