To make your money plant (pothos) grow bigger leaves, focus on light, support, nutrition, and maturity.
Give it bright, indirect light.
Low light usually produces smaller leaves and slower growth. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch them.
Let it climb. This is one of the biggest factors. Give the plant a moss pole, coir pole, wooden plank, or other vertical support. Pothos naturally develops progressively larger leaves as it climbs and matures.
Keep aerial roots attached to the support. A slightly moist moss pole can encourage the roots to establish themselves and help the plant mature.
Feed moderately. During active growth, use a balanced houseplant fertilizer according to its label. Too much fertilizer can damage the roots rather than produce giant leaves.
Water correctly. Water thoroughly when the upper layer of soil has dried somewhat. Don't keep the roots constantly waterlogged.
Use a well-draining, nutrient-rich potting mix. Compacted soil and poor roots can restrict growth.
Be patient with new growth. Existing small leaves won't become dramatically larger. Improved conditions cause the new leaves to emerge progressively larger.
